Kuehne+Nagel Advances KN SwiftLOG Into Cloud-Native, AI-Enabled Warehouse Platform Across 1,000+ Sites

With more than 85,000 employees operating across over 1,300 sites in close to 100 countries, Kuehne+Nagel stands as one of the world’s leading logistics providers. The company is now reinforcing its position in Contract Logistics through a significant digital transformation: evolving KN SwiftLOG, its established warehouse management system, into a cloud-native platform equipped with agentic AI capabilities.

The scale of the initiative is considerable. Spanning more than 1,000 sites in nearly 100 countries, the deployment extends deep into Kuehne+Nagel’s global contract logistics network. The company characterises the programme as one of the most extensive transformations of warehouse operations in the logistics industry.

To support this transformation, the platform is built on Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management Solution, part of Blue Yonder’s Cognitive Solutions. This brings KN SwiftLOG into a unified, cloud-based environment while it continues to serve as Kuehne+Nagel’s established warehouse management system.

The global roll-out began in April 2026 and is being implemented in phases to ensure continuity of service. As deployment progresses, it enables scaling across operations and helps the company manage increasing supply chain complexity and evolving customer requirements without interrupting live warehouse activity.

For freight forwarders and logistics professionals tracking the market, the appeal is direct: standardised processes, clearer visibility, and intelligent automation delivered through a single platform. The initiative connects warehouse activities to data-driven insights, enabling more accurate planning, greater visibility, and faster responses to disruptions.

“Evolving KN SwiftLOG into a cloud-native platform allows us to connect operations, data, and workflows more effectively across locations. As supply chains become more complex, improving efficiency remains a key driver of cloud-based solution adoption. This shift supports consistent execution at scale and helps us respond more quickly to customer requirements, while maintaining reliable service delivery,” said Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel.

The benefits extend directly to customers. A single cloud-based platform supports more standardised processes across sites, aligning operations for clients served in multiple countries while maintaining the stable operations they experience today. The first customer deployment is planned to go live in Asia in July 2026, marking the programme’s transition from internal roll-out to customer-facing value.

“Together, Kuehne+Nagel and its customers will benefit from AI-enabled execution and next-generation operating practices that increase productivity, speed and agility,” said Duncan Angove, Chief Executive Officer of Blue Yonder. “The future of supply chain belongs to those who can standardise globally, decide faster, and adapt at the speed of disruption.”

The initiative reflects a broader shift across contract logistics, where cloud infrastructure and applied AI are redefining how warehouse networks operate at scale. For Kuehne+Nagel, the transformation of KN SwiftLOG is not simply a system upgrade — it is a strategic move to align a global network under one intelligent platform, built for speed, consistency, and resilience.
